A Diabetic Story and/or a Low Experience: |
|
I rarely get below 60, especially since I have been on the Dexcom CGM. I'm fortunate that I'm pretty sensitive to feeling when I'm too low (and too high). I have never passed out, but once got down around 20...was light-headed and broke out in a sweat as I gulped down some orange juice!
My worst experience was finding out I was too low right after a huge Thanksgiving dinner...no fun to have to force myself to eat/drink more when I was already stuffed! |
