A Diabetic Story and/or a Low Experience: |

Over a couple months I was drinking lots a water, and going to the bathroom alot. I started sleeping in longer, taking naps in the afternoon which I never used to do. I was probably sleeping 3/4 of the day. I had a weird taste in my mouth all the time. Then I got extremely fatigued, and started losing weight.
I lost 25lbs in about 2 weeks, and I was really pale. Thats when I went to urgent care, and then to the emergency room from there I was transferred to Children Hospital in Madera and spent 3 days there. I was extremely dehydrated, A1C was 19%, my BG was in the 500-600 range. |
