Activities & More

We look for staff & volunteers who are dedicated to working with children, teens and families affected by diabetes; who work well as part of a team; who are professional; and have skills and enthusiasm to bring to our camp. Our camp has approximately 50-70 staff and volunteers at any given time. You need no special medical knowledge to work at camp, however knowledge of diabetes is always a plus. A pre-camp week of training provides information on our medical routines, programs, and offers important information on general camp life. We are looking for staff to fill all positions. Life guarding, Wilderness First Aid, Archery Certifications and cooking credentials are always a plus!

Activities at camp include but are not limited to; archery, day trekking, backpacking trips, overnights, swimming, fine arts, performing arts, crafts, ceramics, sports, photography, field games, variety shows, many late night campfires, team building activities, camp wide games and diabetes education.
